USD 420 has available a CTE Coordinator position available for the 2024-2025 school year.  

 

Essential Job Functions

  1. Duties/Responsibilities: To familiarize yourself with relevant topics related to CTE programs to assist and lead principals, counselors, and teachers to meet KSDE compliance.
  2. Provide support to principals, counselors, and CTE teachers for submission of CTE Pathways to keep district Pathways in compliance.
  3. Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
  4. Plan, assign, and direct the work of instructional aide(s), paraprofessional(s), and volunteer(s) and oversee completion.
  5. Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
  6. Present a positive role model for students; support mission of school district.
  7. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  8. Assist in selecting books, equipment, and other instructional materials.
  9. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required.
  10. Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills.
  11. Comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies for classroom teachers and the KSDE Kansas Educator Code of Conduct.
  12. Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
  13. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to the occupational area assigned.
  14. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  15. Other duties as assigned.
